Dance, ladies and gentlemen! I give for all of you good dwarfs ale and delicious cheese from hobbits! I feel like a squeezed orange, but it was worth it. Here is the art of film The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey. + 50 shades of green, and maybe all 100.
Beautiful use of highlight and shadow. I think you really managed a good sense of depth here. It's obvious that a lot of work and thought went into this, from the rendering of small grass textures at the front to the subtle use of lightplay in the back. My only advice is that the trail they are on seems to tilt precariously right as it gets toward the bottom of the image. It doesn't have as much of the 3D feel as the rest. I think it's because the foreshortening isn't working there. You might want to try widening it at the very base to give the illusion that it's closer to us than the figures walking on it even if that sadly would mean losing some of your really lovely shadow work on the left side. I'd hate to see you widen it the other direction because it would lose some of the really impressive waterfall you put in there.
Overall, I think the piece is very impressive and definitely achieves the sense of awe and splendor you were reaching for. You've done a really great job of using a LOT of green without making the piece wholly mono-chromatic.
